Carl Melville is Leadership Strategist for the Contract Packaging Association. He is also the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of The Melville Group, an organization dedicated to “helping contract packaging companies grow.” Carl’s clients include some of the industry’s largest and fastest growing organizations, helping open new markets, improve lead generation, increase revenue, and boot enterprise value.
The Melville Group also works with private equity firms, providing industry research and due dilligence on the contract pacakging and contract manufcturing industry. During the past 25 years, Carl has held executive marketing roles in software development firms, contract manufacturers, contract packagers, 3PLs, and consumer products companies, including Power Packaging, TLC, Supervalu, and Ryder.
A noted speaker, advisor, and writer on supply chain business practices, Carl is also a strategic advisor to multiple industry associations, including The Contract Packaging Association. A Chicago native, he currently resides in San Diego. Carl’s firm produced the just-released Contract Packaging Association State of the Industry Report.
